Objective:To study the clinical value of Propofol and Misopostol in remove operation of intrauterine devuce(IUD)of postmenopausal women.Methods:A retrospective study was conducted on 124 cases of postmenopausal women removed operation of IUD in our hospital from June 2007 to June 2009.124 cases were divided into two groups,each group had 62 cases.The observing group took the 25mg Misopostol once per 12 hours for three days.And came back to the hospital on fourth day,who were forbidden to have anything during the six hours before operation.After Propofol intravenous anesthesia,the pain free remove operation of IUD was preformed.The control group,1% of 2ml Lidocaine was injected to cervix after Propofol intravenous anesthesia.Then we observed the softening of cervix,the operation time,the bleeding volume and the rate of operation success between the observed group and the control group.Results:In the observed group:the rate of softening of cervix,the operative time which was less than 5min,the bleeding volume and the rate of one time successful IUD remove operation were 82.26%,77.42%,(2.0±0.7)ml and 100% respectively.In the control group:the rate of softeningog cervix,the operative time which was less than 5min,the bleeding volume and the rate of one time successful IUD remove operation were 9.68%,17.74%,(3.6±0.9) and 85.48% respectively.There was significant difference between the two groups (P<0.01,P<0.05).Conclusions:It was safe and reliable for Propofol and Misopostol in the remove operation of IUD of postmenopausal women and it was worthy of clinical popularization.
