Objective:To discuss the relationship between hypertension early intervention and cerebral stroke events after carrying out hypertension early intervention in Shougang residents' communities.Methods:From 1974 to 2001,according to international regulation,we adopt MONICA scheme to register hypertension and cerebral events onsets,and at the same time we give all residents disease monitoring,comprehensive health intervention and high-risk group health management.Results:There was positive correlation between blood pressure and cerebral events incidence;long-term and comprehensive health intervention can reduce hypertension incidence,and morbidity and mortality of cerebral events as well.Conclusions:It is very important to carry out hypertension early intervention for cerebral cerebral events prevention.
