To evaluate the effect of hospice care on raising the quality of life of the aged dying patientsMethods:120 aged dying patients were randomly divided into treatment group and control groupThe treatment group was treated with hospice care,while the control group was treated with holistic nursing careThe difference of the quality of life before and after intervention between two groups was evaluated by Activity of Daily Living Scale,Life Satisfaction Index,Hospital Anxiety Scale,Verbal Rating ScaleResults:There were significant differences in the treatment group(P<001)between before and after intervention,but no significant difference in the control groupConclusions:Hospice care could improve the quality of life of the aged dying patients much more,should be advocated strongly
