ObjectiveTo study the clinical pathological characteristics,the diagnosis and differential diagnosis of inverted papilloma of bladder（IPB）Methods28 cases of IPB in our hospital were reviewed combined with the previous literaturesThe clinical characters,HE stains and microscope finding were analyzedResultsMacroscopic finding were that diameter of tumors be from 05cm to 6 cm(average 24 cm),polypoid,pedunculated or wide base,smooth surfaceThe general histological images of microscopic were that the surface coating normal transitional epithelial cells,proliferation of epithelial cells being endogenous growth downward sunken,epithelial nest formation with parallel epithelial cells in nest center and palisading surroundingTumor cells were ovoid or fusiform,regular shape,consistent in size,without atypia and occasional mitotic phaseConclusionIPB is a rare benign tumor with well prognosis and less relapseWe should eliminate urothelial carcinoma,potential of low\|grade malignant inverted papilloma and cystitis glandularis cystica to confirm the diagnosis.
