Abstract:ObjectiveComparison of clinical effects of Staphylococcal Enterotoxin C injection and pulvistalci in the treatment of spontaneous pneumothorax.Methods65 cases of spontaneous pneumothorax were collected in our department from January 2013 to January 2016 treated with pleural injection staphylococcin and pulvistalci powder, 30 cases of Staphylococcal Enterotoxin C injection were the observation group, 35 cases of pulvistalci powder were control group. Time stay in hospital, cost of hospitalization, indwelling time of drainage tube, cases number of pneumothorax recurrence, analgesic drug use, duration of fever and number of fever cases, body temperature of two groups were compared.ResultsThere were not statistically difference in the time stay in hospital, cost of hospitalization, indwelling time of drainage tube, cases number of pneumothorax recurrence between the two groups(P>0.05). In the observation group, the analgesic drug use, the duration of fever and the number of fever cases, and the temperature were better than that in the control group, there were statistically significant differences (P<0.05).ConclusionIntrapleural injection staphylococcin for spontaneous pneumothorax is no difference with pulvistalci powder and staphylococcin injection is more security and less side effects than pulvistalci powder, being worthy to be popularized in clinical treatment.
