Abstract:ObjectiveTo observe and explore propofol in general anesthesia on postoperative cognitive function in elderly patients with surgery MethodsFrom August 2015 to December 2016 78 cases in anesthesia department of our hospital were randomly divided into observation group and control group,in the control group with inhaling isoflurane 10%~25%,intravenous fentanyl 10 μg/(kg·h)maintain anesthesia;the observation group with injection pump infusion of propofol 40~60 mg/(kg·h)and fentanyl 10 μg/kg The postoperative spontaneous breathing recovery time, eye open time, recovery time of directional force and 6 hours,12 hours,24 hours after anesthesia simple intelligence scale(MMSE)score changes in two group were observed ResultsAwakening quality after waking up in control group improved more significantly than that in observation group, with significant difference(P<005) MMSE score after 6 hours,12 hours in the control group increased more dramatically than observation group ,with significant difference(P<005),the MMSE score postoperative 24 hours in two groups was no significant difference(P>005) ConclusionPropofol can significantly enhance quality after general anesthesia, fasten postoperative recovery of cognitive function,be suitable for elderly patients, and be worthy of being promotedKey Words:Propofol;General anesthesia;Elderly surgery;Cognitive function
