Abstract:Objective To investigate the clinical value of ultrasound combined with digital subtraction angiography (DSA) guided percutaneous catheterization drainage for the treatment of liver abscess. Methods 79 patients with liver abscess who met the inclusion criteria were collected retrospectively from August 2016 to December 2017, underwent ultrasound combined with DSA-guided percutaneous catheterization drainage and hospitalization time, drainage time, and operation time, the cure rate and incidence of postoperative complications were observed. Results The success rate of ultrasound combined with DSA-guided percutaneous catheter drainage for liver abscess was 100%; median hospitalization time was 8 days; median drainage time was 24 days; median operation time was 13 minutes; There were 3 cases of mild infection around the puncture site and 1 case of localized peritonitis after drainage. The curative rate of liver abscess after one month and 2 months was 96.20% (76/79) and 100% (79/79). Conclusion Ultrasound combined with DSA guided percutaneous catheterization drainage for liver abscess is simple operation, high safety, low complication, high cure rate and short hospitalization time.
