Abstract:Objective To explore the curative effect of transcatheter foam sclerosing agent in the treatment of lower extremities varicose veins guided by digital subtraction angiography (DSA). Method 106 patients with lower extremity varicose veins treated only with foam sclerotherapy from September 2014 to May 2016 was retrospective analyzed, clinical efficacy and other indicators were statistically analyzed. Results The total effective rate of transcatheter foam sclerosing agent for varicose veins in the lower extremity was 100%, the technical success rate was 100%, and no serious complications such as deep venous thrombosis and pulmonary embolism occurred. Conclusion Transcatheter foam sclerosing agent can be widely used for varicose veins of lower extremities with beautiful appearance, small wound, quick recovery and few complications.
