Abstract:Objective To explore the method and feasibility of laparoscopic in pediatric patients with sliding inguinal hernia by retrospectively
analysis. Method A total of 26 cases of pediatric patients with sliding inguinal hernia treated by laparoscopy in our hospital were reviewed from
January 2012 to December 2017. The operation time, blood loss, postoperative complications, length of stay and recurrence were analyzed. Results All
the patients were treated with laparoscopy, without conversion to laparotomy. The operation time was(42.21±6.56)min., the blood loss was(16.23±
3.25)ml. There was no obvious postoperative complication, and the length of stay was(3.07 ± 0.64)days. All patients were cured when they were
discharged from the hospital and without recurrence followed up until now. Conclusion Laparoscopic is a satisfactory, safe and reliable method for
pediatric patients with sliding inguinal hernia.
