Abstract:Objective To analyze the application value of serum cholic acid (CGG) and total bile acid (TBA) in the detection of intrahepatic cholestasis of pregnancy(ICP). Methods 65 patients with ICP from May 2016 to April 2017 were selected as observation group, including 40 mild ICPs and 25severe ICPs, and 65 healthy pregnant women were selected as control group. The serum levels of ICP in the control group and the patients with different severity of ICP were compared and the complications of the patients with different severity of ICP were observed. Results The serum TBA and CG level in the observation group were higher than that in the control group (P<0.05). The serum TBA and CG levels of ICP in the severe ICP group were higher than those in the mild ICP group (P<0.05). The complication rate of severe ICP group was 36.0%, which was higher than that of mild ICP group 15.0% (P<0.05). In the diagnosis of ICP, the sensitivity and specificity of CG TBA were the highest, which were 95.8% and 98.5% respectively. Compared with the healthy pregnancy group, the serum TBA and CG level were significantly increased in the patients with ICP, especially in the patients with severe ICP, and the pregnancy outcome was more poor in the patients with severe ICP. Conclusion The combined screening of serum TBA and CG is of great value in the diagnosis and evaluation of ICP in pregnant and parturient women.
