Abstract:Objective To validate and compare the prediction value of neutrophil percentage(N%), lymphocyte percentage(L%), neutrophil to lymphocyte ratio(NLR), and C-reactive protein for children with non-refractory mycoplasma pneumoniae(MPP). Method 114 children with MPP were enrolled and divided into lobar pneumonia group and bronchopneumonia group according to different chest radiographs. Blood routine and CRP were detected at the beginning of admission. Results N%, NLR and CRP in the lobar pneumonia group were higher than those in the bronchial pneumonia group, and L% was lower than that in the bronchial pneumonia group(P<0.05). ROC curve analysis showed that the areas under the curve of N%, L%, NLR and CRP for the diagnosis of non-refractory MPP were 0.615, 0.627, 0.624, 0.655 respectively. There was no significant difference between the groups(P>0.05). Conclusion All four blood cell parameters have certain predictive value for non-refractory MPP.
