Abstract:Objective To analyze the clinical curative effect of ultrasound-guided microwave ablation in the treatment of benign breast nodules. Methods Clinical data of 21 benign breast nodules cases(36 nodules)undergoing ultrasound-guided microwave ablation were retrospectively analyzed,ultrasound was used to compare the various changes of breast nodules before and after operation. Results Microwave ablation was successfully performed in 36 nodules of 21 patients, the volume reduction rates of nodules were 34.5%, 59.1% and 74.2% respectively in the 3rd, 6th and 12th months after operation,no serious complications occurred. Conclusion Ultrasound-guided microwave ablation is a quite safe and effective method for the treatment of all benign breast nodules, which is worthy of further clinical application.
