Abstract：Objective To  observe the clinical efficacy and nursing quality of Qiju Dihuang pill（QJDHW）in the treatment of diabetic kidney disease（DKD）with Yin deficiency syndrome of liver and kidney. Methods From Jul. 2018 to Apr. 2020, 114 patients of DKD with Yin deficiency syndrome of liver and kidney in the department of nephrology in our hospital were randomly divided into the traditional chinese medicine（TCM）group and western medicine group according to random number table method, 57 cases in each group. The patients in the western medicine group were treated with conventional western medicine combined with clinical nursing, and in the TCM group were treated with Qiju Dihuang pill based on the method of western medicine group.  The clinical and nursing efficacy before and after treatment between the two groups were compared. Results The treatment effective rate, nursing satisfaction rate, and nursing quality score of the TCM group were higher than those of the western medicine group, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant（χ2＝4.728, 4.930, t＝2.819, all P＜0.05）; After treatment, the TCM syndromes scores, FPG, 2 hPG, Scr, BUN, and UAER in the two groups were lower than before treatment, and SF-36 scores（physical and psychological comprehensive dimensions）were higher than before treatment. The above indicators of the TCM group were improved better than those in the western medicine group, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant（t＝19.251, 3.411, 7.005, 0.544, 0.200, 1.114, 2.764, 2.409, all P＜0.05）. Conclusion Qiju Dihuang pill has ideal clinical effect in on the treatment of DKD with Yin deficiency syndrome of liver and kidney, can effectively improve clinical symptoms, glucose and lipid metabolism disorders and renal function level, and improve the quality of life of patients. It has a good nursing effect and a high satisfaction rate, and is worthy of further promotion and application.
