Abstract:Objective To explore the effect of minimally invasive suture with thread anchor in acute closed Achilles tendon rupture. Methods Fifty patients with acute closed Achilles tendon rupture treated in our hospital from November 2018 to November 2019 were selected and randomly divided into observation group and control group, 25 patients in each group. The patients in the observation group were received minimally invasive suture incision with thread anchors, and in the control group were performed traditional conventional incision treatment. The clinical indicators and postoperative functional recovery between the two groups were compared. Results The operation time, hospitalization time and incision length of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group, and the differences between the two groups were all statistically significant(χ2=6.312, 42.533, 6.841, all P<0.05); The ankle-posterior foot scale(AOFAS)scores were improved, and visual analogue scale(VAS) scores were decreased, which in the observation group were better than those in the control group, and the difference between the groups were all statistically significant(χ2=5.847, 9.412, all P<0.05). Conclusion Acutely closed achilles tendon rupture with minimally invasive suture with thread anchor has less invasive and better prognostic effect, can improve the recovery effect of the achilles tendon, and has high clinical application value.
