Abstract：Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of Qingbi lotion in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis of damp heat obstruction type. Methods    A total of 80 patients with rheumatoid arthritis in our hospital from January 2018 to January 2020 were selected as the research objects, and divided into treatment group and control group by random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with methotrexate, pafulin and loxoprofen sodium tablets. The patients in the treatment group were treated by external fumigation and washing with Qingbi lotion on the basis of the control group. The symptoms and signs, laboratory indexes, DAS 28 score and clinical efficacy were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results After treatment, the symptoms and signs, laboratory indexes and DAS 28 scores of the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment, and the improvement degree of the treatment group were better than that of the control group, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant（t＝—2.07, —2.42, —2.39, —3.56, —3.97,—3.74, —3.21, —3.095, all P＜0.05）; the total effective rate in the treatment group was higher than that in the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant（χ2＝3.892, P＜0.05）. Conclusion The external fumigation and washing with Qingbi lotion is safe and effective in the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis of damp-heat type, which is worthy of promotion.
