Abstract:Objective To einvestigate the effect of metformin combined with clomiphene in the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome with infertility. Methods A total of 120 patients with polycystic ovary syndrome with infertility who were admitted to our hospital from February 2019 to March 2020 were selected as the research objects, and they were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with 60 cases in each group. The patients in the control group were treated with clomiphene, and the observation group were treated with metformin combined with clomiphene. The treatment effect, pregnancy success rate, early miscarriage rate, incidence of adverse reactions and endocrine index levels in the two groups were observed. Results The treatment effective rate and pregnancy success rate of the observation group were higher than those of the control group, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant(χ2=3.8709, 4.0434, all P<0.05). However, there was no significant difference in the early miscarriage rate and the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(χ2=0.2087, 0.2087, all P>0.05). After treatment, all endocrine indexes in the two groups were improved compared with those before treatment, and the improvement degree of the observation group was better than that of the control group, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant(t=2.1860, 40.3526, 8.6469, 15.7024, all P<0.05). Conclusion Metformin combined with clomiphenein the treatment of polycystic ovary syndrome has obviously clinical effect, being worthy of promotion.
