Abstract:Objective To analyze and discuss the clinical effect of phacoemulsification in patients with glaucoma secondaryuveitis and cataract. Methods A total of 80 patients with uveitis secondary glaucoma with cataract admitted to our hospital from March 2019 to February 2022 were selected as the study subjects, and divided into the control group and the study group according to the principle of random drawing, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional cataract extraction and the study group was treated with ultrasound emulsification, and the treatment effects of the two groups were analyzed and compared. Results The average intraocular pressure in the study group was lower than that in the control group, and the mean visual acuity and quality of life scores were higher than those in the control group after treatment. The differences were all statistically significant (t=11.469, 4.881, 3.845, 3.676, 4.172, 4.297, all P<0.05); the total satisfaction of treatment in the study group was higher than that in the control group, and the incidence of complications was lower than that in the control group, and the differences between the two groups were all statistically significant (χ2=6.135, 5.165, both P<0.05). Conclusion The use of phacoemulsification in the clinical diagnosis and treatment of uveitis secondaryglaucoma with cataract can significantly improve visual acuity and quality of life, reduce intraocular pressure and complications, and is worth using for high patients satisfaction.
