Abstract：Objective To explore the diagnostic value of multi multi-slice spiral CT and reconstruction technology in mandibular fractures.Methods A total of 44 patients with suspected mandibular fracture treated in our hospital from January 2020 to October 2022 were selected. The clinical maxillofacial surgical results served as the gold standard for diagnosis. The diagnostic accuracy of X-ray films and multi-slice spiral CT combined with reconstruction technology for mandibular fractures was compared. Results Through surgical confirmation： 44 cases of mandibular fractures were identified with a total of 52 fracture sites. Using X-ray films：28 cases of mandibular fractures were diagnosed with a total of 42 fracture sites. Using multi-slice spiral CT and reconstruction technology： 44 cases of mandibular fractures were diagnosed with a total of 51 fracture sites. Comparing the results of the two examination methods, the difference was statistically significant（χ2＝17.527, P＜0.05）. Conclusion The diagnostic value of multi-slice spiral CT and its reconstruction technology for mandibular fractures is significantly superior to that of X-ray films. It can provide a reference basis for clinical diagnosis and treatment and is worth applying.
